How can I plot an excel chart with date on y-axis?
Example Data:
Project Analysis Plan Execute Completed
p1 1-Oct-06
p2 1-Sep-2006 17-Oct 15-Nov-2006
p3 31-Oct-2006

Example Chart:

Hi,

If you right click in the chart and select Source Data - Series Tab, you'll see each series. You can switch the range for the VALUE and CATEGORY axis.

You may need to change the Chart Type to Scatter - LINE in order that the x-values be interpreted as VALUES rather than category instances.

Salut39 and SkipVought, thanks for the reply. But now, the x axis becomes % but not in month. Any idea to fix?

I managed to plot the inverted chart by using stock high-low chart. But the x and y axis is inverted. i.e. y in date, x in project name. Is there any simple way to flip between x and y axis?
