To view the source data, right click on the pivot table and choose "Wizard". Go back a couple of steps and you should eithersee a reference to another excel spreadsheet or "Get Query" which would imply that the data is fed from a database. The method to obtain this data will be different depending on which it is so please have a look and post back.
