I am working with an S8500 and Avaya 2410 phones.
One of my users was cleaning her phone and now the hard coded Messages button just dials 3 instead of the whole extension to get VMs. How and where is this button programmed?

Thanks for the quick reply mikeydidit, and please excuse my ignorance. Call myself from what? How do I "status my set?" The only piece of info that I know is the port number. On the station screen, it's formatted like this "01B1004"

I am working with an S8500 Media Server.
We are not able to dial the new 855 toll free numbers. I assume this is because it's a new prefix, but I don't know where/how to add it so my switch recognizes it.

I wish I knew where the Audix CDs are. That would be GREAT!! It probably doesn't matter anyway though, because the phone system is on a different network than our data network. I am fairly certain that we have Modular Messaging but I don't know how to find out for sure.

Is there an easy way to setup group-paging to ALL extensions on the switch? My crisis management team is looking for a way to get word out fast in case of an emergency/disaster/crisis.
On the desktop of the PC that I remote into to manage the IPOffice switch, there was a batch file that said "Reset Voicemail." On a whim, I ran it and it went through a process of restarting the voicemail service. After it was done, I was able to log in with the new password.

Thanks for the reply. That's exactly what I did and the user is saying the password I reset it to is not working. I did it again just now for good measure. Does merging the config mean that it updates without the need to reboot? Might a reboot of the switch be in order? I don't know what else to...
