Upgrade path virtual server edition VMware from 11.1.3.2 to 12.1

I experienced the same confusion with the documentation. As you did in your lab, I did with a production system with no issues.

    SIP Trunk Question

You can start by capturing a trace from the Monitor application for an outgoing call, and share this with the Service Provider. Make sure you you enable SIP options in the Monitor filter options before starting the trace. Hopefully from the trace, they can tell you what is specifically required.

    IPOCC Distributed Agents

The reference configuration document indicates that agents can be off expansion systems in an IPO SE configuration. It even says that agents can use digital phones, which warrants an an expansion system. https://downloads.avaya.com/css/P8/documents/101004867 Msalvary

    IPOCC Distributed Agents

I have successfully implemented IPOCC with IPO SE. However, I'm only able to add agents whose extensions are off the Primary Server. The user profiles of the expansion systems do not have the IPOCC Agent Type option in Telephony/Supervisor settings. Can agents also be off expansion systems, like...

One-X Mobile Preferred with Non-Standard Port

I believe the difference in my scenario is that I'm using an SBCE between the IP Office and the router. So in this scenario, the SIP Remote User in the IPO System, VoIP, LAN1 settings is not enabled, and consequently neither the Layer 4 settings. I can configure Avaya Communicator with the...

One-X Mobile Preferred with Non-Standard Port

I'm trying to get the One-X Mobile Preferred for IPO app to work with a non-standard port. The IP office L4 ports have been changed to 5076. One-X Portal tests shows the following: <sip-info> <identity>1200@xxxxxx.com</identity> <userName>1200</userName> <password>25800</password>...

What is domain based routing in the Avaya world?

kyle555, thanks for your post. Cleared up some misunderstanding I had. I have a question - in the case where you setup domains as you described, is there any special consideration for the setting up Locations, or not really?
