We're experiecing a lot of the same issues with OPOS drivers and haven't been able to get this 100% stable. If anybody has some good input to share I would also really appreciate it. Serial is unfortunately still the way to go for us, but would love to have an ethernet option that's just as stable.

You don't. In Aloha you can simply not clock-in more than ten times a day. For my curiosity, under what circumstances would you need this?

You can run Aloha Kitchen on windows, also VM. However, what good is it for you if you don't have an Aloha system with a dongle? KDS itself doesn't require a dongle, so I'm assuming you mean the HASP dongle.

When it says NoBOH it means the kitchenservice is either not running, or the KDS cannot connect to the machine running it.

Do you mean like taxes? Doesn't that work if you just price the modifier itself instead of the root item? This is how we do hotel packages. In europe it's often inclusive taxes, it works perfect.

We do sometimes set up mutliple QC's with various options (with or without certain components) or make a component optional. The pricing thing however you can't beat. Most of our customers actually like that in a restaurant setting, but for banqueting not ideal. Other option would be modifier...
