If these are calls to a non-call centre private number on his phone then 1 solution is to use remote notification on that number to a personal pager. If he's on a call & someone leaves a msg his pager goes off. If he's walking around etc he may hear multiple pages.
If this is for an ACD number...
Wait 8 seconds after dialing is completed - I always do this....or
...immediately try entering a <CR> and see if a response is sent

entc..." commands are for Enhanced call trace which requires Pkg 215 and pkg 242....otherwise standard trace commands I believe are like TRAC 4 0 4 0 which only give a single trace snapshot at that instant.
Go to Ld 21, prt, type = RDB, <cr> to get all printed out... one of those will be a music route with TKTP = MUS, then the ROUT = xx is the number you want.
1) Are those phones located near to, or was any equipment that may generate/use high voltage - eg, a TV set test station, moved in the area of those phones ?
2)does the call re-establish itself after the dropout or is it disconnected ?
