    Other than Twinning?

Does this mean that the client has to now pay a cloud fee to use the app on their cell phone to access their IPO 500v2 server?

9 digit on analog lines being sent

I'm getting CO errors when dialing because 9 is being added to only toll free calls to the CO and so digits sent for example are: 918005551212 The the CO rejects the call. If I go to the block with my test set and dial the call goes thru. All other calls go out just fine.

    UPS recommendations

Does anyone have a recommendation for a UPS like APC or Schneider that can carry a load for about 8 hours for an Avaya IP office 8 extension modules phone system and let's say six or seven PCs for a run time of about 8 hours. I'm looking for something that's rack mounted that has multiple...

Nicking cable pairs when using circular cable cutters

I was curious to see if anyone else runs into this issue when using for example the yellow cable cutters for a cable to remove the jacket? I've noticed that sometimes the copper cable gets nicked when I use the adjustable cable cutter to pull the jacket off. New paragraph this is led to...

    Cable color coding

Is there an industry standard to differentiate the jacket colors for different types of ethernet network cabling? I had wanted to start sticking to a standard. For example with category 5e I always used blue and I noticed most people were using blue but now there's category 6, 6a, 7 etc and...

DS modules plastic posts for sister cards

Just to jump in here. I used to leave them off but one time I had a problem and I couldn't figure out why the PRI was offline until I pulled the card out and I found out that for some reason over time maybe with heat or expansion contraction of the plastic the connectors between the motherboard...

9611g port used on POE switch

Is there a way to find out what port a 9611g is using on a large Poe switch? The DS 9508 are linked to specific ports so it's easy to troubleshoot I wasn't sure if there is an identification for the actual Port used for a IP phone

    Swapping Extensions using Web Manager

Are you referring to the manager program or to the web page based program? I tried doing a swap with two extensions on the web-based manager program 9.1 and I was not able to swap both extensions at the same time like you can do with the manager program where you highlight two extensions and...
