unfortunately with the eMG and UCP systems, ELG has implemented license based firmware upgrades. Really great when you need a bugfix from a latest firmware, but customer is out of license.
I think at v2.0Bc you are too far gone on that system to be able to use a demo license to get the firmware...
I had a customer IT change the subnet of the network without any thought towards the devices on that network outside of what was in their control, so yeah, I have tried this before, and had to act quickly to get customer voice services back online.
doesnt appear you can without first activating the port. You could attempt the same method as above, adding the extension number in 11-02, and attempting to register without a password, then once registered, configure in 15-05 with password for security, however I believe this still wont work.
to program a button for night mode,
15-07 - Pick a blank button, set to 09, and put 0 in additional data.
12-07 - Give modes a name
12-08 - Tick 'Lamp Settings for Toggle Key'
This will give users a single button to press for day/night switching, which illuminates when the system is in night...
Those documents in a nutshell.
Submit SKC to NEC for migration, they will ask you to generate the Feature Activation License and System Data reports. So I tend to give everything in one hit.
Download Database in 8100 PC Pro, Save, Open in 9100 PC Pro, this will migrate all your data. Ensure...
Changing IP details on a Netlink is fairly simple.
10-12, update IP details in here, new IP/Gateway etc
84-26, update IP details in here, to ensure your RTP traffic continues routing
This is your base IP information on each system, once you have this setup
51-03 - Update IPs for each other...
Did some testing and have managed to make the above work. Thanks Cody64 for this. Wasn't even aware this was an option in the system. Gives me another feather for my cap, and I can use it moving forwards too. Pity we cant do a flex key to select the different modes.
Hey Guys,
Have a customer with emG80, theyre wanting 4 different messages and being able to select them independently from a handset before they leave for the night. They have recorded said messages from the
trans/pgm 0, 6,
002,
and using messages 1-4,
however when going through this process...
Have the software from the server, have the migration manager as well for future use (and feel I may need it for this too based on Handbook), however, one of the first steps states to ensure you have the LAN IP of the Mitel. From Console, I can see on the boot script
inet on ethernet (e) ...
Thankyou Hemonious, this is exactly what I was looking for. Never knew there was a technicians handbook, and couldnt find a I&A Manual like NEC call it, or installation manual like ipecs calls it, or installation handbook like toshiba call it. LOL
Hey Guys,
As stated before, I am not overly familiar with the mitel platform. I have done the certification and passed so have access to the portal, but real world experience is lacking.
As a result, I have gotten my hands on a 3300 cx ii, unfortunately, the Hard Drive that was in the system...
Changed the RTP Alarm, and unfortunately it hasn't resolved the issue. But thanks for the idea as it is something we hadnt tried before. Back to the drawing board I guess.

Press the 'Menu' button near the directional pad in the bottom right of the phone
Go to 'Setting'
Go to 'User Setting'
Go to 'Talk'
Go...

Random one that has reared its ugly head for me to play with.
Customer has SV9100, CP20, with DT800 IP phones. Randomly, on incoming calls, staff will answer, and at the start of the call they will hear a beep which can block the customers voice etc from being heard, so it is...
