i didnt want to use acd anyway since the users would have to logon to their set. all i want is a number that will ring all the sets. Unfortunately we have to use STE phones in that room so i cant even program a second line to the phone itself.

I figured out the problem, turns out I'm just an idiot. What it was, I was trying to ping on a box that had multiple NIC's on multiple networks. Apparently it doesnt like that for some reason, once I tried it from a box with a single NIC on a single network it PINGed fine. Thanks for the info.

the thing is MCR wont work, there are no users, its going in to a dialogic card on a server. i think the easiest way would be for me to just use the short hunt option. its a little hokey, but as long as it gets the job done. They are all digital sets, 2616s

I am trying to set up a list of 6 DODs that an 800 number can hunt to for an eNotify server. So I want the incoming call to be able to route to any of the 6 available lines skipping any of the line that are already being used.

I need to set up a Group hunt, 6 numbers with one pilot DN. and it needs to be availible 24 hours a day. I have package 120 installed and all of my group hunt lists allowed under system parameters. I just dont know where to go next. Thanks in advance for all the help IT1

ok I did the soft key trick and gave the phone a static IP and got it up and working. I still havent got the DHCP working yet, but I got the phone to ring and thats good enough for me. Thanks to everyone that helped me out with it.
