Move" tells Transformer to include a category under the latest-encountered parent in the event of a uniqueness violation rather than generating an exception. A classic example would be a salesperson who has moved from one region to another...if Transformer encounters sales data for that...
Huh?
Not sure what you're asking...the image goes in your list instead of the doc ID and repeats with each row, the drillthrough is still passing doc ID (doc ID stays in the query) for the row. Without doc ID in the list, and with an identical image in every row, I don't know how the user will...
Yes, just insert an Image in your list, you can set up drillthrough on pretty much anything I think as all of your source data items are available when defining the "linkage" to the target report.
My understanding is that in C8 you are able to model cube datasources in FM in such a way as to allow reporting off both cubes in the Studios (can't tell you how though). You can not report off multiple cubes concurrently with PowerPlay/PPES alone.
There are 2 drilling concepts, drill-down and drill-through. Ties' description of "starting a second report that includes all the details" is drill-through and is one way of doing what you describe (showing more details for an order). In your example, you would set up drillthrough in your...
I agree with Ties that Adam Ant is being unreasonable. While using your db's dummy table to generate static choices would technically involve "hitting" the db I can't see the issue there - aren't you hitting it for the report data anyway?
Making this available/reusable in other reports...
What product????
When you say date "would vary depending on what is selected on the prompt page" do you mean it's a parameter?
If Report Studio, if parameter: put the parameter in a data item, put the data item on your report, use Data Format properties to format it the way you want. The fact...
Same way as text, drag image from the toolbox onto the button.
Disregard my "start a new thread" comment on your other post, that was before I saw this one...but since I am a chronic critic, how about a more meaningful subject next time?
You're pretty unlikely to get a helpful response by burying your question in an old thread on a completely different subject.
See what I mean? This response was no help at all!
I looked into this at one point and there is no way to control that from ReportNet (boy, I'm really turning out to be Mr. Bad News in this thread!).
Even in Excel it's on a document by document basis, i.e. you can't set it as a default (at least not in 2003). The best you might be able to do is...
