Ya future Release Softphone mobile

just checking if anyone knows of a YA softphone in the making for Mobile Phones like Wm6 or Iphones to synch via Teleworker....

I heard something but just wondering if theres even a time frame kind of really curious.

The latest that I have heard is that YA is likely to be replaced by a product called Bria (

There are no plans to have Bria replace YA. Yes Bria is SIP, YA is MiTai/MiNet. For a serverless Mitel softphone Bria is currently your best bet.

Don't forget who own's the largest stake in CounterPath and Mitel... YA will not be repleaced, we have 5.0 coming shortly - just about to enter the internal beta cycle. But you never know what will happen down the road.

Really for the 5.0 so its not being replaced by intertel app or anything ....

is there any features to look for like a MOblie VERSION of the ya softphone like on the iphone / WM device / Or Android .... or symbian hehe....

my boss said he saw something at the florida show ....

Watch out for ME 1.6 and the Mobile client. Just had a demo at Mitel on the HTC devices (WM V6) and looks good!

YA 5.0 will be available in August Globally.

There is some really neat functionality, like the ability to create quick links and open web pages, documents or applications.
