I am running Windows XP Pre-Release (Build 2600) and I have the problem of Windows XP automatically re-booting itself for no reason and without warning.
:-/
Anyone know if this problem has been fixed in the Final or Corporate version? I don't want to buy it if it will keep this up...

Thanx,

This prob could be a driver or a incompatible application!

have you done a check to see if your hardware and apps are compatible?

The first thing to do is turn off "auto reboot"so you can pull a BSOD(blue screen of death)when it fails. Then you will be better able to troubleshoot the problem.
Turn it off by clicking
Start>Control panel(then switch to "classic view")>System>
Advanced>Startup and recovery(settings)
UNcheck the auto restart box and make sure writing to a log is enabled.
