Xima Server Options 4

Hi Guys,

I'm working on a new solution for a new client. We are going to go ahead with hosting one-x and vm pro on a windows server.

I am wondering if I can also run Xima on that server without issue?

Do I need to virtualize it to pull it off or can they all work together in harmony on one server?

why a windows server? cost too much for licensing and linux is more stable of a platform

Also, is this the correct version? SPP XIMA X0002 CHRONICALL CUSTOM REPORTS

My goal is to have historical data and reports regarding inbound calls, groups, trunks, etc. I don't really care about recording audio.

now a days most people are going to the linux for the voicemail pro and one x mobile, I would install the call accounting on a different server.

We always have VM Pro, One-X portal and Xima running on one server, can be windows server 2008 or Linux.

What xima software am I looking for? Is this it: SPP Xima X0001 Chronicall with Standard Reports - per site price - includes Installation and Training Services ? or Custom reports? SPP XIMA X0002 CHRONICALL CUSTOM REPORTS


This is going to be for one site.

The price for this is around 800.00 is that right - seems low?

That's your buy price, so you need to add your margin on top. Custom reports is an add on to Standard Reports only if you want to make your own customised reports

Ok last question

If I wanted to have the reports be based on certain extensions or DIDs would I need the custom version? Or could I build that out in Standard?

That sort of stuff is standard, you choose which groups/users to run certain pre defined reports for, they cover most requirements

If you buy Xima Chronicall with standard reports AND a care packet for one year then Xima will build two or three custom reports for free for you. Which is a nice gesture because the custom report module is expensive just for a few custom reports.

Xima Chronicall We install a lot of them with My company. I get nothing but nice reports for our customer and with Xima direct maintenance it usually easy as pie if issues. There staff is also helpful when have issue between the IPO and there server

I have to say for the extra hassle of getting Java to play nice on a Linux box, Xima runs really nice under Linux.....
