wrong mouse scroll in split window

When I split a vba code window, the mouse scroll works only in the lower window.
how to mouse scroll in the upper part of the window as well?

In that case, what tool are you using to enable the scroll wheel?

It has always been enabled.
I just went once into the Control Panel/Mouse app to set the minimum nb of lines /wheel step.

Well, it's not native to Office 97. Microsoft do have a tool that enables it, which may be what you have - I guess it has limitations. I don't have Office 97 available at the moment to check. Sorry I can't be more specific.

You could try VBScroll - that was what I used before it got built in (Office 2003?) but I don't know if it will help as I don't normally split the VBE window.
