I seem to have managed to load code on a 16 digital module for a 32 digital module. This was done during an upgrade of the module. I did not notice the system was seeing it as a 32. Now it is dead. How can I load the correct code if this can even be done.

Thanks in advance....

Hey Thanks that got my ds16 back to green. Next problem is I have 4.2 loaded on the ds16 and I am looking to add it to my 406v2 running 5.0. The main system does not seem to recognize it. I have rebooted both units without help. Am I missing something trying to upgrade the expansion mod to 5.0?

Thanks,
V

Do you have your standard to pro license still in ?
Remove it if you have and see what happens :)

IPO406v2 I did not think I needed a pro license for this. A little back ground, There use to be a ds32 which the system still thinks is there. Now I wanted to place a ds16 in it's place. LED green and flashing on exp mod. Upgrade option never sees the exp mod at all.

True, i am not paying attention :)
Remove the DS30 in the system and reboot it
Then it probably will work

Downgrade your 4.6 to 4.2 and try then
Maybe it is a 5.0 bug ?

Maybe the extensions are still there after you have removed the unit, remove the extensions then and reboot.

You could also try defaulting your config - just to verify that it's nothing about how you're configured.
