Word 2000 footers, What I see is not what I get!! 1

We have several multi-page Word 2000 docs that we have set up the footers to print as "page 1 of 10, 2 of 10, etc.." They display properly, but when we print the entire document each footer prints as "page 1 of 1, 2 of 2, 3 of 3, etc. Has anyone else wrestled with this before? Thanks for your help!

One of Word 2000's well known annoying little habits!!! X-)

The quick fix ... when printing don't use Print All, but print pages 1 to (last page number).
