What a rip for a GA release. Apparently you guys are not reporting enough issues. They tell me that they swear not to charge for valid bug reports and that it is true that the reported incidents have dramatically decreased since Connect went into effect.
Problem being CarGoSki you need to have bought the support hours before even attempting to tell tham about an obvious bug, so nobody is doing that as it's stupid
My guy did say that he would raise the issue of few issues being raised to his immediate Avaya.Managers
He also sees this as being confusing to BPs that will lead to the product having many found but unreported issues. I know for a fact that something is up since the last three items I reported were listed as unreported and untrended. That never happens. You guys have always reported issues long before I have to jump in.
This is a strange one. Thy seem to have effectively replaced the Q3 maint release without giving any explanation. out disty didn't know why this had appeared with so few fixes.
Makes me wonder if I should get my 6.0.14 sites upgraded pretty sharp to 6.0.18.
Maybe there will be another Q3 main next week with 2 more fixes??????

Football is not a matter of life and death-It is far more important!!!!
Jamie, i didn't know either.
A reseller called me and he told me he used 6.0.18 and i told him that 6.0.18 did not exist but he kept telling me that he had used 6.0.18.
Then i checked the support site and saw that version on the site.
So Avaya tells me that they are sure that the current problem with 14xx phones restarting the upgrade in a loop is an issue they are trying to repair. Since the problem appears across all methods > SD car, Manager, 3rd party tftp < and the only solution is to unplug all but a handful of phones. Effectively you must upgrade a half dozen at a time, wiat seven to fifteen minutes for three files to be replaced in the phone then plug in the next half dozen.
Somehow they know it is an issue but want more sysmon traps. As an organization we do not have any intalls or upgrades for 14xx and R6 on the horizon.
If any of you have this to do then I would like to coordinate with you and Avaya to get the traces they need. No cost to you.
I have one new site running the 6.0.18 from the day it came online they have 16xx phone.
No problems so far.
Indeed a bit strange without with just 5 issues solved.
Also running a site with 35 14xx phone with Dect R4, I only had the problem once that not all of the 14xx came up after a reboot. But it's very slow, some took 25 min to come online.
