windows desktop path

Hi, ¿Does anybody knows how to get the current windows desktop path?

It usually is "c:\windows\escritorio\" (my windows version is in spanish) but it changes from computer to computer, and I want to create a file in the desktop despite of the windows version or language.

HI
1. Depending on OS, your DeskTop will change. Even if you find once, next user could have his desktop directory differnt from the earlier user on the same computer.

2. SO suggestion will be to install all your products in a common directory area, and the question is to put a Desktp icon. This can be achieved by the Installer much more easily, if that is your purpose.

3. The answer to your question.. in a direct way..

oShell = CREATEOBJECT('WScript.Shell')
myDesktop = oShell.SpecialFolders('Desktop')
? myDeskTop
