A domain child? Or a child domain in your Active Directory infrastructure?

Hello, sorry don't respond your post too late, my enroviment is Parentdomain: networkhome.com, child domain: south.networkhome.com , you understand ?

Not sure why you'd setup a child domain just for Exchange. I'm doing just the opposite...I'm migrating my child domains out of the equation and going to a single domain for all my sites.

There are no more PDC's! There are DC's with FSMO roles!

Ok, but documentation Microsoft Exchange 2007 , recomend use the a child domain, why ?

Where does it recommend this?

Child domains and added AD complexity simply means more Exchange 2007 planning and deployment complexity. While Microsoft often recommends segmenting and defining sites clearly, they also recommend keeping the simplest AD environment possible to suit your needs.
