Hi,
I have about 80 resources in my Project plan.
I want to create 'Who does what when' report showing only 14 out of 80 resources.
How can I get rid of unwanted resources while creating this report.

Thanks

View | Resource Usage

Click on the minus sign at the start of the Resource name if you want to hide that person's tasks in the report; click on the plus sign if you want to show the resource's tasks in the report.

Run the report.

In the report you will still see a single line with just the resource's name even if you have hidden the tasks for that resource.

Thanks for the reply.

Actually I did that already. I have 60 odd extra names in my report( though tasks are hidden). So instead of 2-3 page report it becomes 6 page report.

As I said i need to show tasks for only 14 Resources.

Is it a way to group the 14 resources( leaving other 60) and give them some group name and then the report comes out only for that group?

Yes!

1. Prepare the data
View | Resource Sheet
Display the Group column
Put something unique in just the resources you want on the report - I entered "PDQ"

2. View the report
View | Reports | Assignments ...
Single click on "Who does what when"
Click Edit
Click on the Definition tab
Change the Filter to "Group ..."
Click OK
Click Select
Enter the Resource Group from step 1: PDQ
Click OK

Excellent......It worked
Thanks for all the help...

Also is it possible to apply more than one filter for this report.

If yes, how?

Yes. Just create your own filter based on "Group..." and add the necessary conditions.

View | Resource Usage
Project | Filtered for | More Filters...

Click on "Group..."
Click on Copy

Create the necessary conditions.

Remember to change the filter for the WDWW report.
