Which type of IP Office 8.0 firmware is Free

Folks,

If i buy a brand new IP500 V2 System Unit today, which of these 8.0 firmware upgrade am i getting for FREE?

Upgrading to Release 8.0 – up to 32 users: IPO LIC UPG R7.0 SML (267785)

Single control unit with no external expansion modules.

Neither, you don't get any licences free as such. Where are you buying kit from if you aren't trained to install it? If you are an end user the company selling it should advise accordingly not us

Neither, if you buy a new unit it comes with R8 Quick Edition on it.

As a cheat though I suggest you load R7 onto the SD card then load 8.0.18 and get a proper system out of it, not that crippled Basic/Quick crap

Whoops! i meant if i buy a NEW IP500 V2 with IP 7.0 firmware still on it, which 8.0 upgrade am i gonna get?

If it's less than 90 days old, then just load 8.0.18 and you don't need any licences, the one you would need is auto generated
