I have been providing support for a client's w2k network for the past year.
They also have a SCO Unix Open Server, release 5. We will be making some
network changes that will affect the SCO server so I need to get up to speed
on this system. To start we will be changing the IP address scheme to
accommodate a new DSL line. I would like to get a copy of the SCO server software to load onto an extra machine I have this way I can become familiar with
administering the server before going to my client. I tried to obtain the software through and can only find products that work with the OS and not the OS itself. The client does not have their CD so borrowing it is out. They
did have a copy of SCO Companion by James Mohr that I can use but would like
to have a system to play with. I am new to Unix and would appreciate any
help you can provide.
Thanks in advance,
Eric
