Hello, I need some help in getting a Contact Store license for IP500 VM Pro. Any Help would be greatly appreciated

blackchiney, you need to tell us where you are, also there is a Business Partner locator on the Avaya website that may be of use :)

Thanks for your prompt reply amriddle01. I am located in Jamaica. I would like your suggestions for partner businesses and also once the license can be emailed to me, then I don't mind if the partnered businesses are in different regions as long as the price is good.

Thanks

Consider your voicemail channel usage with CS before going down this route.

You are too far for most people on here, but someone may step in still. As Jamie suggests VM pro and CS is an expensive way to record calls and is rarely the best solution :)

Can you suggest a better setup for us to record calls and store them for management purpose? Im a novice so any help or advice is appreciated.

Thanks again

contact store is a great setup, it just takes voicemail ports to record. most call recording packages are going to use voicemail ports to record, if they dont they are generally a bit more expensive.

With anything over 4 calls needing to be recorded generally it's cheaper to use an external call recorder, certainly if over 8 or if vm channels are also required on top for attendants etc as you are well into ££££'s or $$$$'s at that point with VM channels and the contact store/advanced licence :)

It very much depends on what and who you are going to record. If you are recording everything on the ISDN circuit, then 99 times out of 100, a 'proper' call recorder will be cheaper, and sometimes better.

We have lots of sites recording calls. And only a small handful use Contact Store

We want to record all calls. Is it that we can do so without using any voice mail channels? At the moment we only have 4 channels and are only able to record 4 calls. Is there an easier setup that can record all calls(outbound and inbound) that is cheaper and allows easy searching of these recorded calls?

How many ISDN channels/lines do you have? A dedicated third party call recorder will probably be better for you, we have used TIM Talk (Tri Line) in the past and it works great and is searchable etc. Not sure what is available in your area though :)

We have 1 PRI line with 16 channels plus 16 analogue lines coming through a 16 port analogue avaya module

You really need to talk to a local Avaya Business PArtner to look at this.
