Hi All,

Can anyone share good document or explain, how license sharing working in Mitel 3300.
I have previously worked with standalone Mitel controller, this licensing sharing looks like works in cluster system.

Group Licensing allows you to move licenses from one MiVoice Businesssystem to another within the license sharing group (called an "applicationgroup") without having to make changes to the individual applicationrecords on the AMC.

A DLM GARID is created in AMC
One MIVB is assigned as the MASTER and is linked to this GARID
The other MIVB are members of the license sharing group

all licenses are applied to the GARID and it creates a pool
release a license from a MIVB in the Pool and it goes to the pool and can be assigend to another member

- Only works if the following is true
- ALL mivb MUSt
comms to AMC
be in a shared cluster

you can also link the GARID to a ULM so that a micollab can share UCC licenses to the DLM pool

basically allows licenses to be moved between MIVB without going into AMC

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Thanks Mitelappie & Billzz6 for the response.

How to check which system is Master & others are member only?
Also is it possible to check total license under GARID.

master will be associated with the DLM GARID in AMC
master will have an applications group section with the GARID shown
master will have a form that shows tthe licenses and where they are applied

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Master will have a YES in the Application Group Licensing form for the field "Designated License Manager"
