What is the feature set of UM for BCM? I know it integrates CRM and desktop voicemail management but what's the real guts to the suite?

What feature set and advantages do you get from Unified Messaging

In my case, we use CallPilot extensively for users that like to check their voicemails remotely... given the fact that there is no way to externally setup call forwarding on the BCM (still boggles my mind) CallPilot is an invaluable tool...
Not sure if that's a good enough excuse to spend the money though but all I know is that a lot of people get pissed when they can't check their voicemails via Outlook.
