Weird font troubles

Hey folks,

I seem to have run in to a weird problem. I recently discovered that when i run Windows Media Player or the Home Networking Wizard (i'm sure there are other instances, i just haven't encountered them) all the words/letters are replaced by squares :S

The only thing i can think of is that the font used in these apps has been uninstalled somehow.

Any help is appreciated
