Has anyone experienced Exception in Dictinary: 'locale_initial_en_US' is not a JavaScript object and cannot be used as a Dictionary when trying to login to WebManager. I cannot get around this error.

Not yet... I have an open ticket with Avaya but have not heard from them since opening ticket. I'm following up with Avaya today. Will post here if I have any luck.

Have found the fix, shutdown SD Card, backup all voice / wavs if only using the SD Card and not VMPRO
Format and Re-create the SD Card and that will resolve the issue.
You can the restore the WAVS back to the card if using it for VM.

Regards

Have just upgraded to the latest release (11.04.1.0 Build 1) and I still get this error even after formatting and recreating the SD card.

It sounds like either missing/corrupted file or Java issue. If reformatting/recreating the SD card does not fix the issue make sure you have Java installed and updated. Try a different browser as some browsers use the browser Java (like Chrome) others don't. I have never run into this issue myself sorry about all I can offer.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

I believe this may be related to a similar issue that I am having with R11 - also trying to get hold of AVAYA support and get my hands on the private build (13) of 11.04.1 - may be worth letting Avaya know that you know stuff (ie, there is a private build out there) ;)

Should have been a Bus mechanic seeing as I spend so much time under them.

Hi

Card recreated, Java updated, used Chrome and Firefox but still the same.

Not a real issue as I prefer Manager, I guess others are the same so not many have seen the error?

Did anyone ever find the solution for this (Exception in Dictinary: 'locale_initial_en_US' is not a JavaScript object and cannot be used as a Dictionary) Its driving me NUK-N-FUTZ [banghead]

Just fixed this on ours so we could use the web file manager in IE to upload the expired TCS cert to the delete folder.

Here is what I found:
In:
System SD/SYSTEM/PRIMARY/WebMgmtEE the files:
BackupRestore.jar, index.html, launchclient.jar, and WebManagement.html were all marked as read-only and were likely the wrong versions referencing the js files in the wrong way.

You cannot overwite them but you CAN delete them and re-upload from another working system (still trying to determine where in the Manager install path these are held from within Windows install)
