Hello,
I have created a report in Crystal 8.0 which uses data from a MS Access 2000 database. The database is on a workstation PC running Windows 2000 Pro. I have created a drive mapping and an ODBC driver to that database on the Web server where I am running Crystal. I have no problem refreshing the report data when viewing the report from Crystal on the Web server, and am not prompted for a password when doing so. However, when using a link on a Web page, I am prompted for a userID and password. There is no userID or password on the database or within the ODBC driver.
I have tried clicking Finish to send a blank userid / password, using the database PC's network login and password, and adding ?userid=&password= to the end of the URL to "fake it out," but these don't seem to work. I have a large series of reports being run from Web pages that access SQL databases through the same Web server, so I know that Crystal and the Web server are configured correctly. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Susan
