I am looking for a nice neat way to say "re-taken up"

basically...I want to say that I have started doing something (hobby) that I did when I was a child

I want to avoid "I have again taken up playing...."

any ideas?

Looks as though the nCotton burned out long before his legend ever did. (Sorry Sir Elton, sometimes I just can't help myself)

Referring back to the phrase to be replaced, "Re-taken up", I'd offer:

I've taken it back up.

I was going to suggest, "I have taken up y yet again."
