This is doing my heed right in.

I have CCC all installed on 2003 machine and workin.

I have installed wallboard client on my XP machine.

When i try and connect wallboard server to the delta server on the 2003 machine it says

permission denied whilst connecting to server or process

WTF?

What am i doing wrong? What can i do to get rid of this. Im sure it is permissions of some sort but i have followed the manual to the T regarding access permissions etc.

please help me cause its starting to ruin my day.

Oh wait I had this issue. It never got fixed because when I called Avaya for help, the machine was an 2003 SP2 and that wasn't supported and was told to go back to SP1. I'm pretty sure that was it. Is the 2003 machine SP2?

It is yes.

Interesting / god darn it.

Im escalating this now based on that

Hallelujah.

Thank the lord for that.

Here is what i had to do and also here is what i did that was not quite right.

I had to leave the default share on the C drive as C$ and i also had to create a new share called just C.

I had created a new share called test, apparently it HAS to be C.

I then applied full control for "everyone" or just that client domain user on that share and it now works.
