Have you contacted them to find out if they have a demo available?

Andrea,

I've never used Voodoo, but I've seen it demonstrated at a DevCon, and it really seems amazing. The "Voodoo" part is because it seems to eliminate the internet from the equation without requiring anything but a web browser on the client side. If I remember right, you author forms in VFP, build your project with Voodoo, and when the client accesses your site, the webpages look nearly identical to the VFP forms.

Of course, there are limitations to what you can do in the VFP forms (you can't go calling windows api's for transparency or anything funny like that, since the form is really rendered as a web page), but from the demo, it did seem kinda spooky!

Hi,

thanks all for your reply.

Reading documentation seems it can be used with web-connect or with ASP-enabled web server. In effect it is buy-able both with web-connect or not.

Now I try to write them; when I have some more informations I can reply to this thread if someone is interested.

I doubt it. That may be their goal, but right now Voodoo is pretty well reserved for web-connect. For example, take a look at the 4 examples as
They are:

I don't see anything showing APS-enabled servers. Since VFP is a VFP product, that would require a rewrite. So, as we speak today I believe Voodoo is still reserved for web-connect, but I am open to other thoughts because only my dog thinks I know it all, and he is deaf :)
