I have a user out in San Francisco connection to our CS1000 in New York with a i2002 phone. On what seems to be random days, he suddenly gets no dial tone and can't dial out. The display shows the time popping in and out as well. Any ideas?
when the fault appears, does the icon on the side of key 0 appears as off hook? If not means the Main office doesn t received the off hook information or the information has not been sent back. Look for QoS with IT team.
2nd possibility is that many i2002 have a problem with the contact of the hook. Try harder to check...
Occasionally this will happen on my cs1000e and the problem will be that the phone is stuck in a busy condition. Go to ld 32 and stat the TN to see if it is idle or busy.
