Hi all,

I am currently trying to run a softphone app from Austrlia to the US. I can connect, dial, put on hold, everything except when I talk, the other party cannot hear me.

I can hear the other party and they can hear my hold music, the correct tones if I press a button and other system noises, but they cannot hear my speech.

I have checked the mic (works with other apps and comes up with levels on the Tuning wizard), i have changed PC's and mic's (still doesnt work) and I have tried to call numbers internal and external of the switch.

Is anyone able to help me out.

If you look at the IP-Interfaces screen, does the gateway of the med-pro match the gateway of the c-lan?

If not, that can be your problem.

Check with your network folks and make sure all of the correct ports are open on the firewall. This could be your issue.

I have resolved this issue and yes callcentergal, it was the ports issue....
