Voip 1120e soft key issue

Hello All!!

I have a Nortel 1120e Voip phone running off a CS2100...

The soft keys are programmed with transfer and conference which seem to disappear when you go off hook to answer a call.

Then after 6 seconds they RE-APPEAR which is making the end users crazy.

A side note is that the 1140E soft keys do NOT disappear...........................

Has anyone experienced this or have a solution???

You could upgrade your UNIStim release to 5.5. But, it's unlikely to correct anything. The fixes are related to HTTPS provisioning, nothing regarding soft keys.

Details that it's design intent. As the 1120 only has 4 lines of display, when you get a call, the CLID populates on Line 3 and if it's longer than 10 or 11 rows (Not the whole row, just enough of it. And I don't know where I got that number) the phone steals the 4th row from the soft keys to display additional information.
