Been having an issue where the voicemail pro service unexpectedly shuts down and I need to either restart the service or sometimes need to reboot the server to get voicemail back up and running. The first time I had this happen I got out of memory errors repeatly on screen but since no such errors. I have 512MB of RAM in the system which is what is required to run the program. Is it possible that a threshold that is being hit in memory that is forcing a shutdown of the service or is there another cause of this possibly VCM or other things that could cause this.

Any input or help I can get on this would be greatly apprciated as my vendor has not been able to supply me an answer and is trying to get Avaya involved to look into this issue.

OK, without being in front of the system, I have a suggestion that is just a band aid.

go to services, recovery tab, set it to restart the service.

It does not stop the issue, but does restart the service to return service automaticaly.

I reccomend using this only until you find a real solution.

Also, memory is always stated as a min requirement, exceed it.

You do not always get what you pay for, but you never get what you do not pay for.
