Has anyone else had issues trying to get voicemail pro to connect correctly with a system/manager version 9.1.4? I have both voicemail pro and manager and system at 9.1.4, I can get the voicemail pro system to see the control unit's IP, but can never get the users and groups and it shows the voicemail type as none in system status. I have set the voicemail password in both as I've seen in other posts, does not seem to help. I can roll my control unit back to other versions, and have no problem getting voicemail pro working on anything but 9.1.4. Control unit and PC running manager and voicemail pro are on the same IP range. I have the Manager PC IP address and File Writer IP Address set correctly in manager to the manager computer. I have the Voicemail IP address set to the voicemail pro system correctly. I have the licenses installed. I am at a loss here.

I noticed when I go in to set the voicemail password 9.1.5 does not require you to change all your passwords as the previous 9.1.x versions have.
That must be an error. After resetting security settings you should be asked to change default passwords.

Upgraded systems don't require the password change like a fresh 9.1.X install... from what I have seen.

I did a reformat and recreate of my SD card, reset security settings, and then went into security and changed the voicemail password all without being prompted to change my default passwords on 9.1.5. When I get a chance Ill try it again and post if I can recreate not having to change my passwords as I found it weird that every previous version of 9.1 you had to but 9.1.5 you didn't.

I installed to IP500V2 with new SD cards recreated with R9.1.5 and same config copied to SD card before starting the system.

First one upgraded, started tried to enter configuration with Manager but no acces as Administrator. Three times wrong password and account locked. Had a look into security settings as user 'security' and found that there was no user... Made a security reset with Manager. Could connect to the config and had been asked to change three password.

Second one upgraded, started, tried to enter configuration as Administrator with standard password. Asked to change three passwords but when hitting the OK button I got an error that passwords could not be changed with "access denied". Tried to login into security settings with the same result. Asked to change passwords but have not been able to change. Same result after resetting security settings with Manager. Only chance was to reset security over DTE.

The second system is only a spare system if the first will fail. Good that I started it though because the system has been shipped in the afternoon far away.

So I was able to replicate what I was doing before to get 9.1.5 to default passwords and not prompt for new passwords.

1) I reformated/recreated my SD card with 9.1.5
2) I power on the system, open manager, and immediately do reset security settings
3) Once you reset the security settings, manager will no longer see the system when trying to access the security settings, but you can still ping the system and you can still access the config
4) I access the config, set it to standard mode, save the config and reboot
5) Upon reboot I can enter the security settings again, it has all password defaulted, and I can even change the voicemail password to whatever I want and save it and not be prompted to change the default passwords

Once you set the mode upon initial installation it will make you set new passwords after a security settings reset. Not sure if this is a bug I found or it is "working as intended" as a way to have default passwords at creation but never again. This really doesn't have much to do with my original post, I just happened to discover this when we received 9.1.5 for testing and I tried to get my voicemail pro working (which with 9.1.5 works just fine...)
