Hi Guys,

I was wondering whether anyone would be able to point me in the right direction. I have been working with IP office for a while now so I am very familiar with it. However yesterday I was confused as to what this error was in the system status. I have tried googling it with now joy, the error is " Voicemail storage. Current state: Invalid"

It may be worth noting that a user was not able to retrieve messages. No matter how many messages were left in her inbox the button never lit up, nor did it physically say she had any new messages. (All other users were fine by the way)

After this I decided to remove her whole user account out of the system and put it back. When I did this her DDI would now not even call the extension it would say "number **** is not available". I did a trace it showed nothing out of the ordinary, checked to see if there was any forwarding set and there was nothing. So for now I have pointed her DDI to a spare extension which is working as a temporary fix. This indicates that it is a user fault somewhere so I have scheduled a reboot for the IP office for a time suitable to the customer (I just hope this cures whatever caused the bug. Hopefully it may solve the Voicemail error)

If anyone has seen anything like this or may be able to put some light on it I would be very greatful.
N.B Please see the attachment.

Thanks,
Chris

This only happened to me once on a UCM VMpro. I had to reboot the UCM. And I remember reading in another post somewhere, you might have to delete the account for the user, and then recreate the mailbox.

Regard

Hi Azrael,

Thanks for your reply, deleting the user and recreating it is what I have done. But it led to this other issue where the user cannot be called. I think a reboot is in order however they don't want that done yet. I thought I would post on here because I am a CM guy not really an IP office man.

Thanks,
Chris

What Release? Voicemail pro on windows, linux, UCM? Gonna have to give us a few more details...

Hi,

The IP Office is at R9 SP2, and VM Pro is running on Windows 7 pro 64bit which is R9 SP1 (Not sure why there is no SP2 for VMPro)
Sorry first time posting. Didn't think to put the version :/

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Guys,

I have run accross the same issue. This happened to me after i moved the data over from one computer to another (the first computer began to give problems). Some people cant seem to get access to their mailbox and gives them a dead air after putting in the password.
