Okay IP Office Gurus…I have a strange one. Incoming calls that use dial by extension (only) cannot leave messages on any extension on the IPO site set as Centralized. Here is the setup and more detailed scenario…
Site A IPO 500 v2 9.1 150 users, 10.2.2.240/255.255.0.0 – Preferred Edition
Voicemail is set to Voicemail Pro/Lite, 10.2.2.241
Line 100 (outgoing 100) IP Office Line, GW 10.4.2.240
Windows 2012 R2 Server running VMPro 9.1 with UAC off, firewall off, 10.2.2.241/255.255.0.0.
< 10 Gigabit link between sites, dark fiber > … yes the two sites can see each other.
Site B IPO 500 v2 9.1 50 users, 10.4.2.240/255.255.0.0 – Essential Edition
Voicemail is set to Centralized with the Voicemail Destination set to 101
Line 101 (outgoing 101) IP Office Line, GW 10.2.2.240
PRI 24 lives here.
SCN is healthy, no duplicate extensions, lines or groups. Licensing is happy. ARS routing works perfectly.
Scenario is this. Call comes in on the PRI at site B and hits the auto attendant on VM:Attendant. Our dialing plan is 3???. If the caller dials a 3??? number that exists on Site A, goes to voicemail everything works fine.
Same setup, this time, the caller dials a 3??? number that exists on Site B. Voicemail message plays, you are instructed to leave a message…do so, hang up and nothing. No message no notification. No wav files is saved.
Alternate setup. Call comes in on a DID that lands on an extension on Site B, goes to voicemail, works perfectly. It also works fine when the call is transferred by the receptionist when the inbound caller dials 0 from the VMPro attendant module.
I am at a complete loss why they dial by extension won’t work for site B.
Thoughts, comments, suggestions? Everything is operating perfectly except for this one thing. Arg.
Thanks in advance!
JP
