Thanks in advance. I am running the IPO 500 Manager 6.2 (14).
IPO = 4.2(14), Voice Mail Pro.

I am recording the calls for several users. I noticed that after several days after the recording, the call recording will disappear from the server (the VRL folder). Is there a retention setting for calls being recorded.
If so, where do I look?

Thanks

Rob

Doc, we better back up. We don't have enough road to get up to 88.

Recordings will be deleted when there is not enough free space on the hard disk.
If you use contact store (read if) then it must be installed on a dedicated partition so it can calculate the free disk space.
If it is not done you get deleted recordings while there is enough free space.

I think VMPro does delete messages too when there is not enough free space but i am not sure.

ACS IP Office or is it ACSS :)

I have enough disk space. It is weird, I restored all of the recordings from 2 weeks ago on yesterday and this morning they are gone.(in other words, I only have calls showing since February 1st and we started recording January 25th) every thing from Jan 25th - until Jan 31st is gone.

what setting do you have set for - retain call details

It's people like you who generalize.

Thanks CarGoSki for the reply...where is that option?

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

not using contact store.

I am checking the option in IP office Manager under User, Voice Recording, I have "ON" for Recording outbound and Recording Inbound. I have Voice Recording Library (auto) and Voice Recording Library (manual) checked

and the calls are being recorded on the D:\Avaya\Ip Office\Viocemail Pro\VM\VRL

That is there for when you are using contact store, without it you need to record to a standard mailbox :)
