I have an Avaya IP Office 403 and the VMPRO software sits on an HP D330 with Windows XP Pro SP1 as the OS.

The vmpro5.exe keeps generating a fault and freezing/crashing the PC. Can anyone point me in the direction of a resolution???

Are you running vm pro as a service if not I would recommend you re install it as a service

[cheers]

If you have firewall service pak 2 turned on.. try turning it off. I had to on mine.

Yes the it is installed as a service.

Also it only has Service Pack 1, it isn't on the LAN either just a connection to the IP Office

Any thoughts???

Would be very helpfull if you could tell the fault message generated by VM Pro service.
If you do not have this then do the following :

go to services and adjust to have the service interact with the desktop ( IMS will not work in this mode )
restart the vm pro service
now you have the vm pro on the desktop like you see with vm lite
click on run and vm pro shows messages on the screen

Maybe then you can see a reason why it stops.

It would be of some help if you told what the fault message is.

You can let the VM Pro service interact with the desktop and then you can monitor the VM Pro messages in real-time.
Maybe that gives some light.

Hey intrigant I think it would also help if he told us the specific fault message, what do you think?
