Hi ...

We have IP office release 8.1.(63) and voice mail pro 8.1.9501.0 with essential, preferred and advanced edition will showed valid on IPO manager. We created a short code to the module using voice mail collect and when dial this shortcode its goes to the destination based on the call flow but when calling the number from outside, the VM Pro disconnected the call .I have tried uninstalling and re installing voice mail pro without any luck. I will appreciate if someone has a clue to on how i can resolve this issue.
The destenation on ICR is set to the Module name.
There is a Ping from the VM Pro Server to IPO.
The firewall on the VM Pro Server is off.

The followin is the trace from dbgview:

Whats The Problem and How I can Solve it ?

This really sounds like you are changing your callflow in the offline mode.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Add a prompt to each action were you record the name of the action.
Then call VMPro and listen what the last action is used, direct after that action there is a problem.

Don't use Remote Desktop either, if you have been that could be your issue...it can corrupt VM Pro :)

Hi All ...

I test every thing, but with nothing change.
When call the phone, disconnected me but on the system status the call is connected.
I found thing that I have the SD Card Rls.8.1 and the Avaya send the preferred Edition to me Rls 9.0 Code
the voicemail after installing the license working for a week, and after installing the Advanced Edition the problem of the disconnected occur.
is the problem of the license cause the voicemail disconnected.

Thanks

What happens is you change the license string for the advanced edition?
Just change the last character to a capital (or the other way round)

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Hi telpeter ...

I Installed the Advanced Edition License Because I have a CCR and Recording.

Here is the Preferred Edition Code

Wj3_SEbsHI3TFp9BuL1dh0z73r1gZDQt

and Here is the Advanced Edition Code

Hs3sqhb_ZIRtZoyC7CXZsn2G23CQoNHs

What Should I do and What could this make because the reporting and recording is working now ?

Thanks telpter for your support .

Hi tlpeter ...

sorry if I hesticaite you, but can you tell me what should I do ?
Because I'm on site now and need to test this.

Thanks

By changing the licence it will become invalid.
Then you can test the voicemail to see if it works again.
By changing the last character you still know what it was so you can change it back easy.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

does the VM respond when you dial *17 internally?
if so then licensing is not your problem

Don't send your ICR to a short code route to VM:<Module Name>, it should not make any difference but it is less programming and far more obvious what is happening when you look at it 6 months later

Another tip is to temporarily change the authentication of the service to local account & enable "Interact with Desktop"
this enables you to turn on the VM Pro event log to see what it thinks is happening

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

Hi tlpeter ....

I do it, nothing change.

Dear IPGuru ...

ya when dial the *17 or the short code of the module I can hear the voicemail and the voice recorded.
aboout the Service I will do it and updates you.

Thanks all ...

So voicemail works fine :)
Then you have a different problem.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

The link does not work and keep it that way.
When normal voicemail works then there must be something wrong with the modules.
Run debugview and call in and see where it goes wrong.

Thanks

This is not from a call.
When you call in and reach a module then it shold show this and also which wav file it is playing or which condition it is using.
This only shows that MAPI is not working.
