VMP 9.1 EMAIL ROUTE 1

I wonder if someone can help me with this. I am setting up voicemail to email using Windows based voicemail pro 9.1 I've done this many times before and haven't had any issues setting up a route.

This time the network is behind another Network meaning that the IP office is segregated with its own router which is then plugged into the main Network on the campus.

My route goes out over the avaya's router and then it doesn't seem to go out over the campus primary router.

I'm wondering if it is getting stopped by the primary Network for some reason. Has anyone ever encountered this before?

The reason why we have two separate routers two separate networks is the campus did not want their primary data Network to interface with the via system at all including any network connections and wiring.
 
What you describe is double NAT, but it should work as long as the 2 networks have different IP ranges.

Use System Status to see if the IP Office can ping 8.8.8.8 - if not, the issue is likely in the router serving the Avaya system. The other, less likely possibility, is that the campus network is blocking email traffic (this would be far more likely if you are using port 25 to send emails).

They are separate ranges and I am using Gmail port 587.

I'll check the monitor and SSA.
