A customer of ours has an IP Office running 9.1 with a UC Module V2. They had Voicemail to email being directed to their MS Exchange server but they recently migrated to Office 365 so they need to change the SMTP IP Address in VM Pro. I found out that the credentials for the UCM were changed by one of our ex-colleagues but no record was left of the new credentials so I am not able to access the UC Module via VM Pro Client.

I have access to the IP office via IP Office Manager and I tried doing a reset of all passwords via the Security settings but that did not do anything to the UC module. I am now faced with having to do a password recovery on the UC Module but I cannot find anywhere in the documentation or in the Tek Tip forums about how to do this.

Can someone provide information on how to do this or provide an alternative solution to this problem?

I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you janni78,

I will try this tomorrow and let you know how it went. If it doesn't work, the KB article suggests re-imaging the UCM and rebuilding it. I may have to do that.

It doesn't give you a link with the information on the procedure to re-image, but I will try to find it if necessary.

Cheers.
