Just installed VM PRO 5.0.26 on a new server windows 2003 Server.
Everything looks normal except the fact no voice prompts are palying by VM Pro.. Also when try to add users or groups using VM Pro client the add all users and add all groups function is grey out.
System is IP412 v 5.0.20 and VM Pro licenses are valid

No firewalls or strange application running on server.

Any thoughts ?

What is the locale of your IP Office?
Did you select languages to install?

No problem at all. Any help is always welcome

i cant recall - but isnt there a reg setting to force it into the correct locale to play the correct prompts?

I cant recall it too.

VM/Names VM/Accounts etc directories are empty

Add all users and add all Groups tab still grey out :(

I reinstall it in another clean server without any success...

The system has not connected to the VM correctly/at all if it hasn't generated any accounts, you have set the IP Office to use the new server address haven't you :)

Have you double checked the preferences setting for the directory path for the wav files? In Voicemail Pro Client, Go to 'Administration', go to 'Preferences', go to 'General', then select 'Directories' and make sure VoiceMail Pro is using the correct folder for wav files.
Since you are Online and assuming you have valid licensing (on line for more than the non-license start-up time),
then the directories is the first place to look.

Are you able to record using the Voicemail Pro Client? if yes look to see where you are storing the wav files. VoiceMail Pro must be directed to the same folder.

Yea all directories are in the right place.
Looks like something is blocking the communication between IPO and VM even if the client its online and VM services are up. Its a quite simple network topology anyway, the only unusual is the server which has 2 Lan cards for connecting in 2 different subnets.
