Just installed VM PRO 5.0.26 on a new server windows 2003 Server.
Everything looks normal except the fact no voice prompts are palying by VM Pro.. Also when try to add users or groups using VM Pro client the add all users and add all groups function is grey out.
System is IP412 v 5.0.20 and VM Pro licenses are valid

No firewalls or strange application running on server.

Any thoughts ?

How about routing set-up? (Routing is not my strong point) I have ended up blocking v-mail/resources when I added additional routing control (rules, static IPs, MAC and ARRP).

Recently I was playing with complete security lock-down options and found that some of the static programming I created caused problems. I assume my problems were with the releasing of connections and ports, etc.. Our IT guys disagree with my current set-up, so when we can actually get around to changing it, I will have a better idea.
(I solved my issue by setting my NIC card to a DHCP request but left the router with my NIC MAC address attached to a static IP (I was playing with all kinds of other cfg settings as well). When I had both set to static, I had issues when ever I rebooted a device/appliance. A manual flush sometimes allow me to re-establish the connection).

As per multiple NICs, We do have a few systems that use multiple subnets and haven't had any problems with them at all;in fact I love having the dual NIC access on the IP Office controller. We have also started using more virtual servers as well and so far so good; last one had 4 NICS (We have kept a decommissioned standard server for emergency back-up just in case)

If you want to confirm it's a blocking issue and narrow it down to PC or network patch the PC directly into the IP Offices LAN port, if VM comes up it's the network at fault if it is still being blocked it's something on the server at fault :)

Again fresh new installation of VM Pro on a new PC. Connected directly to LAN port of IP412 with valid VM Pro lics. Same results No Prompts.
Not a netwotk issue not a PC blocking issue..
Then what ?
Could it be the serial hasp ? or something else?

Just for pure testing download the Admin for 3.2 and install VM lite, this will mean uninstalling VM Pro but it's not working anyway, then run that, does that work OK or not at all? Could still be a PC blocking issue, do all the PC's have a corporate profile on or the same Anti Virus etc :)

I still think you have a firewall running.
IF not then still use the firewall batch file for adding the ports in to the firewall.
