Have a customer that we installed an IP500 V2 w/6.1 software earlier this year. The system is in a large physicians office where we have a calling group set up along with a vm box for the group.
The issue that we are having is more than one person can log into the mailbox at the same time. On every other IPO we have installed if one person is already logged in then the second person gets something like, you cannot log in due to too many log in attempts.
Generally this would not be an issue, but there are approx 6 people in the calling group and when more than one logs in to the mailbox to get the messages, then more than one person is calling the same patient more than one time. This also happens on individuals mailboxes, not just a group mailbox.
We called Catalyst, but they were unaware of an issue, and said they would forward to Avaya Tier 3, but we have not bought our $300 an hour tech support,so that will not happen.
We did install the 3rd quarter maintenance patch, for 6.1 but that did not help.
I know the next step is to upgrade to at least R7, but have been holding off as I usually like to stay 1 or 2 Revs behind, although that does not seem to be helping in this situation.
Has anyone else run into this issue and if so how did you resolve?
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!
