I have one ext. that says it has 4 new messages and when you hit 2 to get messages it syas no messages. The messages show up in the VM folder under his extension. How do I make the system recognize that there are messages there? I have stop and started services and rebooted the entire server. They are on 4.2.30 VM Pro.

2 is saved messages, 1 is old messages and new messages just play without pressing anything. where does it say it has 4 messages?

No it comes on and says you have 4 new messages press 2 to retrieve messages and then it says you have no messages.

Ahhh, you will be using Inuity I'm thinking sorry 2 is get messages :)

Right and then it tells me there are no new messages after it just told me there was 4 new messages.

Have you tried a reboot of the system, shouldn't make a difference but it can. Have you tried leaving a test message to see what changes if anything?

Done both and does not change.....have stop and started services also.

A deletion of the mailbox and then a services restart to recreate it is in order I think. The messages can be played on a PC to see if they are important before you delete/move them

If SSA and vmpro client say that there are four new messages you can put a visual voice button on the phone to retrieve them but you will have to destroy and rebuild the box and restart vmpro service to repair the issue.

It's people like you who generalize.
