Morning all,

Hope everyone is doing well. I am looking for a little pointer here. We recently had an IPO 500 V2 8.1 system installed. All working well, but I would like to be able to track all outgoing calls, ie a call log.

I can see an individual extensions log, but I can't seem to find anywhere to view the total central log of all calls. Is there something I need to install / configure? Or is it a third party piece of software I need ?

Thanks in advance
Craig

hows your call flow work? if you're sending all your calls initially to a main huntgroup you can turn on Log Missed Hunt Group Calls this will store answered calls and the last 10 missed...not the best, but it wont cost you $800 :)

I recently ran across this, but have not had a chance to test it:

Thanks guys. Stivetaber - I saw that too, but the download link doesn't work, and despite much googling, I can't find it anywhere...

Don't be scrappy and go for Xima Chronically.
A great tool and installed and setup in minutes.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Thanks Guys. No money to spend right now, maybe next year then!

Have a look at Kiwi Syslog - the free version is OK for this application. It just generates a CSV file which you will need open in Excel or similar. It is OK for checking a call log but not really for proper call accounting. You should be able to find more info in this forum.

Ipohead - sorry, I had not checked back on this thread recently. I tried to use Kiwi, but I can't seem to make it work. I'll post back what happens when I try, when I am back at work in case anyone has any pointers.

Tiny hint: Get a free trial license for Xima Chronicall, it lasts 14 days and the install is child's play.
You'll spend more than $800 in work hours figuring out how to do it for free.

Kind regards

Gunnar

Oh, for fox sake!

I am also cheap and use the same one that stivtaber suggested

this is what I have as cheat sheet to install it

Installation of SMDR program (tested on WinXP, Win7 and Win8)
• Open command prompt as Administrator (important otherwise it will ask for elevation)
• Browse to directory where the SMDR program is stored
• For Win8 make the program compatible with WinXP ServicePack 2 (3 might work too)
• C:\ ..\..\SMDR program\SMDR>
• Run %systemRoot%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\installutil SMDRService.exe (1 space between installutil and SMDRServices.exe) this requires Microsoft .Net 2.0 being installed
• Add TCP port 3000 into Firewall as incoming exception
• Start the service via services.msc (or any other way you would like to go to the services window
• Enter the IP address of the PC as SMDR recipient into the IP Office programming and port 3000
• Test it, be happy
