I am having a very strange problem with my BCM50. For some reason, The avaya 1220 IP phones keep losing connection after a while ( at random times ). We attached a laptop to the phone and did a continuous ping to the bcm50 and never got one loss even after the IP phones went down. We changed the DNS on the phones to the ip address of the BCM50 but no luck. We even gave the phones a static IP address, but same thing occurred. We know it is not a cable fault because all the 1220 IP phones are having the same problem and it only started about 3 days ago. that has ever happened to anyone before?
