Vector Problem ?

We wroye this vector but when numbers are collected it rings the extension, but ignores coverage, and does not ever go to voicemail. Anyone know why?

01 wait-time 1 secs hearing silence
02 collect 1 digits after announcement 2993
03 wait-time 5 secs hearing silence
04 goto step 7 if digits = 1
05 goto step 8 if digits = 2
06 goto step 9 if digits = 3
07 route-to number 1748 with cov y if unconditionally
08 route-to number 1752 with cov y if unconditionally
09 route-to number 1753 with cov y if unconditionally
10 disconnect after announcement none
11 stop

Don't know what version of software you have but if possible have you done a "list trace vector" to see what is happening? what does happen does it just ring forever?

You shouldn't really need step 3 as the switch uses the normal inter-digit timeout for the collect step and this just adds an extra delay.

What does the cover path for the stations look like?

I had this problem some time ago and discover that my problem was due to the way I was connecting users to the VDN. In my case, I hade the coverage of an extension pointing to a vdn instead of simply having the users dial the VDN directly.

Because coverage is never applied to a call that has already been redirected via a coverage path, the calls simply range at the destination and would not go to their coverage. I finally replaced the extension with a VDN and everything worked perfectly.
